Terms & Conditions

  • All prices are shown in Australian dollars.
  • Prices are inclusive of GST.
  • There may be instances where flower substitutions may be necessary. Please see our Substitution Policy for details.
  • Delivery details must be complete and accurate. Any changes may incur additional delivery fees. All additional fees will be notified to the customer prior to delivery. Please refer to Delivery Policy for further information.
  • Unfortunately we cannot resend an arrangement if the original flowers are disposed of, making them unavailable for assessment.
  • Credit card payments over $1,000 attract a 1.5% surcharge.
  • As per Australian Consumer Law, we are not obliged to refund any part of a purchase due to change of mind.

SUBSTITUTION POLICY

     Northside Flower Market makes every effort to ensure that the products we have offered for sale are available at the time of purchase. However we reserve the right to, if necessary, make fair and reasonable substitutions according to the practical availability of specific flower types and containers.

    In the case where a specific flower type or colour is unavailable within the given time frame of delivery, substitutions may be made within the arrangement to achieve the same overall shape, style and colour effect and to ensure that the order is delivered on time.

    Except for products where we have indicated that there be no substitution, Northside Flower Market will always give priority in decreasing order of importance to delivering your order on time, colour preference, the theme of the arrangement and then specific flower varieties.

    In arrangements of a single flower variety (e.g. rose bouquet), the flower variety will take precedence over colour.

    Orders will always be fulfilled to the full retail value (or higher) of the order.

    PAYMENT DETAILS
    For online orders we accept VISA, MasterCard and American Express through our Bank and PayPal online merchant facilities or by credit card over the phone. EFTPOS and cash payments are accepted in-store only. We do not accept cheques.  Orders must be paid for before delivery or collection.

    DECLINED PAYMENTS
    In the event that your credit card is not able to be charged, you will be notified at the checkout stage. You will then need to contact your financial institution for further assistance and/or contact Northside Flower Market to provide a different form of payment.

    Please Note: That your order will not be processed until your credit card is able to be charged the full amount of your order.

    TIMED DELIVERY
    Timed deliveries are available, but please note your request in special instructions at the checkout. Additional fees may apply. You will be contacted by one of our staff if additional confirmation is required for this express service. We will do our best to have your arrangement delivered at the requested time. During peak event periods, we cannot guarantee timed deliveries, except for weddings and funerals.

    ADDITIONAL CHARGES
    Additional charges may be incurred if:

    No one is home and a re-delivery is necessary

    • A specific delivery time is requested
    • An incorrect address has been supplied and a re-delivery is required
    • Delivery details have been changed
    • The delivery is to ships, airports, funeral homes, cemeteries, crematoria or army bases
    • Orders for same day delivery are placed after 1.00pm from Monday to Friday, or 11.00am on Saturdays.
    • Delivery times outside normal business hours are requested.
    • Charges will vary depending on the circumstances. You will always be notified should any charges be incurred.


    ORDER CONFIRMATION
    Once your online order has been placed you will receive a confirmation receipt via email. Cancellations or alterations to orders must be made within 24 hours of ordering. If your order is a gift, please check that you have entered the correct shipping address, as web browsers, phone wallets and Apple/Google/Shop/PayPal may autofill your billing address as the shipping address.

    If you order for same day delivery and need to amend or cancel the order, please call us on (07) 3856 4711. If we have made/attempted delivery or delivered your purchase, we may not provide a refund.

    REFUNDS

    Refunds may be provided in the case that market bunches, bouquets, arrangements, plants and other products are faulty and we receive notification including photographs within 24 hours of purchase or delivery. This is so we can report issues to our growers.

    Requests made outside this time will be assessed on a case by case basis and may not be fully refunded. Orders and deliveries are made in good faith and changes or cancellations may be refunded less our processing/bank fees.

    GIFT CARDS

    By purchasing, redeeming or attempting to redeem a Gift Card, you accept and become bound by the terms and conditions below and as varied from time to time.

    We reserve the right to vary these terms and conditions at any time and without notice. Please check these terms and conditions on tour website at regular intervals for any changes.

    You may purchase Gift Cards In Store by payment in cash or by debit or credit card. Gift Cards may only be purchased with the value specified on the Gift Card.

    A physical Gift Card may only be redeemed by the purchase of goods and services In Store. Gift Cards cannot be redeemed by purchases on line, over the telephone or by facsimile, nor can they be used to pay an existing credit account.

    You may not use a Gift Card to make purchases that are prohibited or restricted by law.

    A Gift Card may only be redeemed by purchases up to the value specified on the Gift Card. If you wish to make a purchase that exceeds that value, you must pay the excess using another method of payment.

    Multiple purchases using a Gift Card

    A Gift Card may be redeemed in one or more transactions. When making purchases using the Gift Card, the balance on your Gift Card will be reduced by the value of the purchase. The remaining balance may be used by making future purchases subject to these terms and conditions.

    You may check the balance on your Gift Card and relevant transaction history by making In Store enquires with our sales operators.

    Destruction of Gift Card on redemption

    Once your Gift Card is fully redeemed, it should be destroyed.

    Gift Cards that have been damaged or tampered with
    A Gift Card that has been damaged or altered, defaced or otherwise tampered with, whether for fraudulent purposes or otherwise, will become void and may not be redeemed. Such Gift Cards will not be replaced or refunded.

    The redemption of Gift Cards may not be cancelled or reversed except with our approval which we may give or withhold at our discretion. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or under our returns policy in respect of goods or services purchased on redemption of a Gift Card.

    Gift Cards cannot be cancelled, exchanged or redeemed for cash. Gift cards made out to a person/s or organisation are non-transferrable.

    Expiry of Gift Cards

    Gift Cards will expire as per the date indicated on them at issue, or any other term as required by legislation, if they are not redeemed in accordance with these terms and conditions.

    Lost or stolen Gift Cards

    Gift Cards should be treated like cash. Lost or stolen Gift Cards will not be replaced or refunded.

    Your responsibilities

    You are responsible for the use and safety of your Gift Card. We are not responsible for any transactions using your Gift Card except to the extent that there has been fraud or negligence by us or by any of our employees.

    PRIVACY POLICY

    Northside Flower Market may communicate directly with you regarding Northside Flower Market products, offers and competitions.

    Northside Flower Market will not otherwise disclose or permit the use of any of your personal information unless required by law.

    Northside Flower Market will take all reasonable steps to ensure the security and privacy of all your personal information and data collected from and about you.
