SPATHIPHYLLUM (PEACE LILY)
Spathiphyllum (Peace Lily) in 200mm pot and hessian gift bag.
Spathiphyllums are popular indoor plants, with low maintenance requirements and elegant white blooms. Our potted plants are sourced from production nurseries in SEQ and northern NSW so will tolerate our climate well.
Spathiphyllum care:
Watering- let your Peace Lily dry out slightly before watering. When the leaves droop slightly it's time to give them a drink. A good way to water them evenly is to put them in a shady spot outside (or in the bathtub), water them until water flows through the bottom of the pot, leave to drain and then put them back in their planter/bag.
Position - place in indirect light indoors or in a shady spot outdoors. Keep out of direct sunlight as this will burn the leaves.
Fertilise - with indoor plant fertiliser every 3 to 6 months.
If your plant becomes root bound, re-pot into a container with well-draining potting mix.
Spathiphyllum foliage is toxic to dogs, cats and humans if eaten, so keep it away from your furry and non-furry mammals.
Spathiphyllums can remove chemical compounds such as formaldehyde, benzene, trichloroethylene, xylene, ammonia and more from the air.
